Tony Schiavo, owner of The Peddler bicycle shops in Long Branch and Red Bank, New Jersey, was killed in a car accident. Tony was a well-known and respected cycling ambassador for Monmouth County and the New Jersey Shore. The former racer encouraged young cyclists who went on to win state, national, and world championships. Thousands of friends turned out for his funeral to pay respect to a man who gave so much to the local cycling community. |
