Inwood Livable Streets Meeting

Mark Levine, chair of the Traffic and Transportation Committee of Community Board 12, which represents the neighborhoods of Inwood and Washington Heights, has invited livable streets advocates to present proposals for pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly improvements to the committee at their September meeting. The improvements are primarily focused on building protected cycle paths to improve bicycle commuting in Inwood and Washington Heights, including a route from 155th St to the Broadway bridge along St. Nicholas and Broadway, and a connector between the east and west side greenways along Dyckman Street.
