Subject:
Dear Borough President Markowitz:
Prospect Park was designed to be a place for peace and play. But for many hours of the day, car traffic turns the park's loop drive into an unsafe, hostile, and noisy speedway. The privileged handful of Brooklyn's rush hour commuters now using the park drives can choose from a vast network of roads and rails built just for them. However, for the millions of residents in the most park-poor borough in the city, there is no alternative to Prospect Park. I support a Car-Free Prospect Park!
